Hi, I’m David, and I lead Propeller Health. First, to those of you who use Propeller to help manage your asthma or COPD, I want to thank you for trusting us. I also wanted to let everyone concerned about their breathing know that I’m thinking about you.
I’m writing this post from my home in Madison, Wisconsin, where my wife, three boys and giant Newfoundland, Martha (pictured below), are all sharing space while “social distancing.”
This is a difficult time for all of us, as I’m sure it is for you. We’re worried about friends, family and our community. And we’re doing our best to be patient with each other and with ourselves.
I know that for people with asthma and COPD, this time may be particularly stressful. There’s a lot of information out there about coronavirus, and it can be hard to know where to turn for guidance. To help you sort through it, we’ve launched a new COVID-19 Resources page. Some topics we’ve covered so far include:
- Information about COVID-19 specifically for people with asthma or COPD
- The importance of maintaining your treatment plan during the COVID-19 outbreak
- How to tell if it’s coronavirus, the flu or a cold?
- Yes, you should be wearing a face mask in public. Here’s why.
Remember, you are not alone. You have a whole company of people thinking of you, working on your behalf, and ready to support you at any moment.
Please let me and the team know what you need, and stay healthy and safe.
